The western band of Baltimore County outside the city. Anchored to the south by Catonsville (near UMBC and the BWI corridor), Arbutus, and Woodlawn (SSA headquarters), and to the north by Pikesville, Reisterstown, and Owings Mills (Metro Subway terminus and Owings Mills Mall corridor). Also includes Randallstown, Milford Mill, and Garrison. Served by Baltimore County Public Schools with a mix of older postwar neighborhoods and newer I-795 corridor development.
