Somerville is immediately adjacent (home to Tufts University, the revitalized Davis Square, and the 'Slumerville' to 'Brooklyn of Boston' transformation). The region also includes Medford, Everett, Chelsea, Revere, and Winthrop — the East Boston-adjacent seaside communities.
