The Charleston Peninsula

The historic heart of Charleston, a narrow strip of land between the Ashley and Cooper rivers. Home to the French Quarter, Rainbow Row, the College of Charleston, and MUSC. South of Broad is among the most prestigious addresses in the South, while the Upper Peninsula around NoMo (North Morrison) is a fast-growing mixed-use district. The CARTA DASH shuttle circulates the downtown core for free. This is the walkable urban center of the entire metro.
