Uptown & The Hilltops

The uptown neighborhoods on the hills north of the basin, centered on the University of Cincinnati, the UC Medical Center, and the historic Clifton district. This region contains Clifton and Clifton Heights, Corryville, Mt. Auburn, Avondale, Walnut Hills, East Walnut Hills, Mt. Adams, and North Avondale. The uptown area is the region's largest employment node after downtown, anchored by UC Health, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati. Mt. Adams sits on a river bluff overlooking downtown.
