Beachside Daytona & Halifax Area

The coastal heart of the metro stretching along the Atlantic from Ormond Beach south through Daytona Beach and its barrier island communities. The Halifax River (Intracoastal Waterway) separates the beachside from the mainland. This region includes downtown Daytona Beach with its boardwalk and pier, the Daytona Beach Shores resort corridor, Holly Hill wedged between Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach, South Daytona along the river, and Ponce Inlet at the southern tip. Ormond Beach straddles both beachside and mainland with a historic downtown and family-friendly neighborhoods. The A1A coastal highway threads the barrier island communities together.
