West Volusia & I-4 Corridor

I-4 Corridor

The inland communities of Volusia County along the I-4 corridor and the St. Johns River. Deltona is the largest city in the county (pop. 93,692) and functions as a bedroom community for both Daytona Beach and Orlando. DeLand is the historic county seat, home to Stetson University, and known for its walkable downtown with shops and restaurants. DeBary offers SunRail commuter rail service to Orlando. Orange City and Lake Helen are smaller communities with distinct small-town character. This region is defined by the I-4 expressway connecting it to both coasts and by the natural springs, rivers, and state parks that dot the landscape.
