The outer-ring Oakland County suburbs north and northeast of the Woodward corridor, including Troy, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Pontiac, and Waterford. This region contains Oakland University, the Stellantis North American headquarters in Auburn Hills, the Great Lakes Crossing outlet mall, Meadow Brook Hall, and the Oakland County seat in Pontiac. The I-75 corridor is the primary north-south spine, serving the Somerset Collection mall complex and Troy's office parks.
