The Macomb County suburbs immediately north and east of Detroit, anchored by Warren (the third-largest city in Michigan), Sterling Heights, St. Clair Shores, Roseville, and Eastpointe. Warren is home to the General Motors Technical Center, the US Army Detroit Arsenal (TACOM), and the Warren Civic Center. Sterling Heights contains one of the largest Stellantis plants in the country. Clinton Township and Mount Clemens anchor the northeast section along I-94.
