The western Wayne County suburbs west of Detroit city limits, anchored by Livonia, Canton, Plymouth, Northville, and Westland. This region contains Laurel Park Place and Wonderland Village retail areas, Schoolcraft College (Livonia), Plymouth's historic downtown and Kellogg Park, Northville's Victorian downtown, and Canton's large newer-subdivision residential base. Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is in Romulus on the southern edge.
