The two outer counties in the Fort Wayne MSA: Wells County (south along I-69, anchored by Bluffton) and Whitley County (west along US-30, anchored by Columbia City). Both counties offer small-town character, historic county seats, and significantly lower housing costs than Allen County with practical commute distance to Fort Wayne employment centers.
