Downtown Indianapolis

The central Mile Square and surrounding near-downtown districts organized around Monument Circle and the 1821 Alexander Ralston plat. This region contains the state capitol, the Lucas Oil Stadium and Gainbridge Fieldhouse sports venues, the Indiana Convention Center, the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, and the city's walkable cultural districts — Mass Ave, Fountain Square, Fletcher Place, Chatham Arch, Lockerbie Square, and Wholesale District. The IndyGo Red Line BRT runs north-south through this corridor.
