Madison County & Anderson

I-69 Northeast

The northeast exurban county of Madison, 35 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis. Anderson is the county seat and largest city — a former General Motors manufacturing center now home to Anderson University and Nestle. Pendleton is a smaller community along I-69, and Alexandria is in northern Madison County. The region offers significantly lower housing costs than Hamilton County with I-69 access to the Indianapolis employment market.
