Downtown & Urban Core

The historic heart of Jacksonville on both banks of the St. Johns River, encompassing Downtown's emerging skyline, the walkable neighborhoods of Riverside, Avondale, and San Marco, plus revitalizing Springfield. This is the metro's cultural and employment center — home to the Jacksonville Jaguars' EverBank Stadium, TIAA Bank Center, the Cummer Museum, and the Five Points and San Marco Square shopping districts. The JTA Skyway automated people mover connects Northbank and Southbank destinations. Riverside and Avondale feature a 6,870-acre National Register historic district with tree-lined streets, craft breweries, and independent shops, while San Marco offers Mediterranean Revival architecture and boutique retail.
