I-75 North

The fast-growing northern corridor anchored by Georgetown, the Scott County seat and home to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky -- the largest Toyota vehicle plant outside Japan. I-75 connects Georgetown to Lexington in a 15-minute drive, fueling residential growth that has pushed Scott County's population past 58,000. Smaller communities like Stamping Ground and Sadieville dot the rural landscape between Georgetown and the Grant County line. Within Fayette County, the Masterson Station neighborhood represents Lexington's largest planned residential area on the northwest side.

Scott County seat anchored by the world's largest Toyota plant
Georgetown is the Scott County seat and the fastest-growing community in the Lexington metro, anchored by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky — Toyota's largest vehicle plant in the world, employing roughly 9,300-9,900 workers and producing the Camry Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, and Lexus ES since 1988. The walkable historic downtown centers on the 1877 Scott County Courthouse and features Country Boy Brewing, Ward Hall, and a row of Victorian storefronts, while newer I-75-corridor subdivisions absorb the metro's strongest population growth. The city sits 16 miles north of Lexington via I-75 and offers paddling on Elkhorn Creek at Cardome Park and a Japanese friendship garden at Yuko-En.
