Milwaukee City Neighborhoods
The residential neighborhoods of the city of Milwaukee outside the downtown core, spanning the north, west, and south sides. This region includes Bay View (a trendy south-side neighborhood on Lake Michigan with walkable KK Avenue), Riverwest (an arts-oriented district), the historic Washington Heights and Sherman Park, the East Side near UW-Milwaukee (including the Upper East Side and Murray Hill), Lincoln Village on the south side (home of the Basilica of St. Josaphat), Bronzeville (the historic African American cultural district), and Harambee. The Milwaukee County Grounds and Miller Park (American Family Field) are west-side landmarks.
