East Orlando & UCF Corridor

The rapidly growing eastern flank of Orange County stretching from the Azalea Park and Goldenrod areas east through the University of Central Florida campus to Avalon Park and Waterford Lakes. The Alafaya CDP -- one of the largest CDPs in Florida with over 90,000 residents -- is the population center, anchored by UCF (the nation's largest university by enrollment). The region has a young, diverse demographic profile with newer suburban development, chain retail along SR 50 (Colonial Drive) and University Boulevard, and proximity to the Central Florida Research Park. Conway and Belle Isle sit along the southern edge near Orlando International Airport.
