Southwest Growth Corridor

The booming southwest growth corridor spanning southwestern Orange County and eastern Lake County, where some of Central Florida's fastest-growing communities are emerging. Horizon West (pop. 58,000+ and climbing fast) is a massive master-planned development area in unincorporated Orange County with multiple villages including Hamlin, Lakeside, and Waterside. Lake County's growth centers include Clermont, a hilly city with scenic lakefront living, and Minneola and Groveland, which are rapidly expanding along US-27 and the Florida Turnpike.
