The southern suburban ring of Allegheny County along the Light Rail 'T' line and PA-51. Anchored by Mt. Lebanon (one of the oldest and most prestigious South Hills communities, served by a consistently top-rated school district), Bethel Park (home to South Park and the MAC Athletic Conference), Upper St. Clair (another top-rated school district), Dormont (small dense borough), Brentwood, Castle Shannon, Pleasant Hills, Jefferson Hills, South Park Township, Whitehall, Baldwin Borough and Township, and Peters Township (which is actually in Washington County but socially connects to the South Hills). The Light Rail 'T' connects the South Hills directly to downtown Pittsburgh in 20-25 minutes.
