Payson, Salem & South Utah County

The southern tier of Utah County, where established towns give way to rural foothills and agricultural land. Payson (pop. ~21,100) is the commercial hub, with Salem (pop. ~11,300), Santaquin (pop. ~13,700), Elk Ridge (pop. ~4,700), and Woodland Hills (pop. ~1,700) filling the benchlands east of I-15. Genola (pop. ~1,700) and Goshen (pop. ~940) are small agricultural towns on the valley floor near Goshen Bay. This region offers the most affordable land in Utah County with a small-town, agrarian character and growing commuter population.
