Midlothian & Western Chesterfield

The fast-growing western portion of Chesterfield County, anchored by the Midlothian CDP (pop. 18,320) and extending south along the Route 288 and Powhite Parkway corridors. Bon Air (pop. 18,022) is a tree-lined inner-ring suburb immediately south of Richmond with a historic village center. Brandermill (pop. 13,730) is a master-planned community centered on Swift Creek Reservoir, and Woodlake (pop. 7,493) is a neighboring planned community. This zone has some of the region's highest-rated schools and strongest home values, with a mix of established neighborhoods and newer development.
