West End & Short Pump

The affluent western suburbs of Henrico County, stretching from the University of Richmond corridor west to the Short Pump retail and residential hub along West Broad Street (US-250). Short Pump (pop. 30,626) is one of the region's largest CDPs and a major commercial center anchored by Short Pump Town Center. Tuckahoe (pop. 48,517) is a large, established residential CDP along River Road. Innsbrook (pop. 8,998) is a major office park and mixed-use employment center. Wyndham (pop. 12,110) and Laurel (pop. 17,769) are newer planned communities in the far West End. Route 288 provides a freeway bypass connecting these communities to I-64 and I-95.
