Tacoma & Central Pierce

Pierce County's urban core centered on Tacoma — Washington's third-largest city, a revitalized port city with a thriving arts district, the Museum of Glass, and the University of Washington Tacoma campus. The T Line streetcar connects the Tacoma Dome transit hub to the Theater District. Surrounding communities include Lakewood (home to Joint Base Lewis-McChord), University Place (Chambers Bay golf), and Fircrest. The 1 Line Link extension will eventually connect Tacoma Dome to the regional light rail network.
