West Windsor, East Windsor & Princeton Junction

NJ Transit NEC / US-130 / NJ-33 / NJ Turnpike

The eastern band of Mercer County along the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor. West Windsor Township is home to Princeton Junction — the busiest NJ Transit station outside of Newark and New York, with direct NEC service to NY Penn Station (55 minutes) and Philadelphia (40 minutes). East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough sit further east along NJ-33 and the NJ Turnpike (Exit 8). The region offers a mix of upscale commuter subdivisions (West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional Schools, one of NJ's top districts), planned 55+ communities, and the Mercer County side of the Twin Rivers planned community in East Windsor.
